Shard of Spring emufixed - free c64 game download

This game is one of the first CRPG (computer role-playing game).

This game was created near 1986 for Apple IIe and later for C64.

If you know Questron, which is also on C64, it's a similar game. For youngest players, you can compare this game to Dragon Warrior and Final Fantasy series.

The graphics are pretty bad, but they were very good for that time. The loadings for combats are very slow, but you can boost the C64 emulator speed to make them load faster.

I never finished this CRPG and I've just found a walkthrough so I may spend some hours to revisit this old game.

As a current player of WoW, I've started to play RGP from Shard of Spring, then Dragon Warrior and Final Fantasy. At that time, I was dreaming of a game like World of Warcraft. Whithout Shard of Spring, I might have never been interested to RPGs.
